PURRS is a nonprofit organization located in Stanislaus, California. We are dedicated to help rescue, foster, and re-home animals in need. If there is an animal in need of our services, please contact us, we are happy to help!

Life Saving Statistics

Because we value community involvement, we also value transparency. We want you to know what we do and where our funds (and yours) go! Please check out our life saving statistics below:

We have trapped 48 cats and kittens from the streets. 45 of these cats and kittens survived. 1 kitten died due to illness, and 2 adult cats had to be euthanized due to illness.

We have safely relocated or rehomed another 87 cats and kittens that were homeless but did not need to be trapped by us (someone else had trapped them or could collect them for us.) Although 12 had respiratory illnesses and one has Cerebellar Hypoplaysia, none needed to be euthanized or died.
